Gulu is northern Uganda's commercial centre, and a great deal of money moving through it comes from organisations and partners who verify you online before they engage. A website is often the first thing they check.
Gulu district hosts a dense concentration of organisations, contractors and suppliers working with international partners. Those partners run due diligence, and a large part of that is simply looking you up.
Grant applications and procurement processes routinely ask for a web address. An organisation that cannot supply one is at an immediate disadvantage against one that can, regardless of which does better work on the ground. The website is not the achievement — it is the evidence that lets someone take the achievement seriously.
Beyond the organisations, Gulu has hotels, restaurants, transport operators, schools, clinics and traders serving the whole Acholi sub-region. Customers come in from surrounding districts, and they decide where to go before they travel.
For a hotel that means rooms and rates visible online. For a transport operator it means routes and contacts. For a trader near the main market it means being findable by name when a buyer who met you once tries to get back in touch.
Word of mouth still does a great deal of work in Gulu, and it always will. But a recommendation now ends with someone reaching for their phone to look you up, and what they find at that moment either confirms what they were told or quietly undermines it.
Every site is built mobile-first, because effectively all of your audience will open it on a phone, often on mobile data that is neither fast nor cheap. Heavy pages lose people before they load.
Tap-to-call and click-to-WhatsApp sit on every screen, your location goes on Google Maps, and the whole thing stays light enough to open quickly on a weak connection.
We work with Gulu remotely over WhatsApp and phone. No travel, no office visit, and no distance loading on the price — a business in Gulu pays exactly what one in Kampala pays.
You send photographs and details, we send drafts, you say what to change. One-page sites are UGX 250,000 and five-page business sites are UGX 500,000, with the first year of hosting and a standard domain included in both.
A one-page site is UGX 250,000 and a five-page site is UGX 500,000, with a 50% Mobile Money deposit to start and the balance due once the site is live and approved.
Hosting, SSL and a standard domain are included for the first year. After that the Care and Hosting plan is UGX 120,000 a year for most sites, covering hosting, security updates, backups, domain renewal and small edits — which matters for organisations that need to publish new reports or update a programme page periodically.
The site and domain belong to you, registered in your name. For an organisation that has to demonstrate control of its own communications to a partner, that distinction is worth confirming in writing with whoever builds your site.
The same honest pricing everywhere in Uganda — no “capital city” mark-up.

UGX 250,000 for a one-page site and UGX 500,000 for a full five-page website, exactly as in Kampala. Being in northern Uganda does not change the price, and there is no travel cost added to your quote.
Your mission and programmes, impact reports with photographs, the team and board, and a clear contact route for partners and funders. The UGX 500,000 package covers this across up to five pages with an enquiry form.
No, and that is deliberate. Everything runs over WhatsApp and phone, which removes travel cost from your price entirely. You review drafts and request changes from wherever you are, at whatever time suits you.
Yes. We can rebuild it on a faster, mobile-first setup and connect your existing domain so your address stays the same. Bring what you have and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth keeping or replacing.
Mobile Money, in two parts. A 50% deposit starts the work and the balance is paid on delivery once the site is live and you have approved it. There is no need to travel or use a bank.
Small edits are handled for you as part of the Care and Hosting plan, which is usually simpler than training someone. If your organisation publishes reports or updates frequently and would rather manage that internally, say so at the start and we will build it that way.
Start with a 50% Mobile Money deposit. Most sites are live within a week.
